For a little while, the Navajo Nation was hit the hardest with COVID with some of the highest numbers of cases, but now it has been reduced to some of the lowest rates.
As of July 22, there is a total of 8,639 positive cases of COVID-19 with total confirmed death of 425. The total cases have seen a drastic decrease of cases due to public health orders. The 57-hour weekend stay at home orders have disrupted the lives of Navajo people but has lessened the impact of COVID-19.
I (Donnie) recently sat down with podcast hosts of Quick to Listen to share a little more about the situation of COVID-19 on the Navajo Reservation.
